This is a simple $3 course jigsaw blade to use to dig deep grooves into the back of the bow stave belly core and bamboo . This will allow the glue something to really grab onto and create allot of strength. Clamp or screw it upside down on the edge of a bench top or clamp it into a vice.

After the jigsaw blade is securely attched to something drag the glue surfaces of the hickory as well as the bamboo on the teeth of the jigsaw blade creating deep grooves the entire length of the hickory as well as the bamboo. Be very careful not to split the bamboo doing this. Drag each piece several times until you have at least 1/64" deep grooves. Roughing the wood up with sandpaper is not enough to give the glue something to grab especially on hard hickory.
Make sure groove the bamboo as well
as the hickory belly core. Do not glue the riser on at this point. The riser will be attached after the main bow is glued and cured.
